Dr. Connie Dawson became the lead pastor of Radiant Church in 2011. Pastor Connie is known for her straightforward, high impact preaching and teaching with divine revelation, which brings the Scriptures to life, and generates a hunger for more of His presence. Believers are established in foundational truths as she delivers powerful insights from the Word of God. She is an intercessor who seeks to have a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the anointing she experiences in ministry is an overflow of her time of intimate prayer, worship, and waiting on God. Pastor Connie has an MA in Theology, a Master of Divinity, a MBA from the University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. in Renewal History and Theology from Regent University, VA Beach.
Pastor Connie and her husband, Bruce, have been members of this congregation for over 24 years. They were sent commissioned as missionaries from this church to serve in China for five years where she worked with leaders in the underground church and Bible schools. In addition, they served for five years in the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary of the Assemblies of God where Bruce worked as the assistant business administrator, and Pastor Connie ministered with local pastors and traveled as an international preacher and teacher. Prior to their missionary service, she was traveled and ministered as a conference speaker, evangelist, and was the interim and associate pastor of this church body in 1997. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Before entering full time ministry, she was the founder and administrative director of Cardiology at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center here in Lincoln.
Pastor Connie has two married sons and five grandchildren.
Pastor Geoff was born in England and came to the United States after graduating from High School. He is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. Pastor Geoff traveled extensively as a pianist for a quartet as well as serving as organist for the international radio broadcast Revivaltime. He was Senior Pastor for 43 years in five different states, one of the churches being the former Radiant Church in Lincoln for 12 years. He is presently active as a substitute teacher in the Lincoln Public School system which he enjoys as he likes to be around young people. At Radiant Church, Pastor Geoff currently teaches a regular Wednesday night Adult Bible Study and is also involved in pulpit ministry as needed.
Pastor Beverly LeTourneau is an associate pastor of pastoral care and the senior members of Radiant Church. Beverly ministers to the residents of several care centers in Lincoln. Her background
has been with seniors as a nursing home administrator and health care assistant. Pastor Beverly was also the founder of the Secret Place which was a ministry that cared for single mothers and their
children in Minnesota. She has a desire to see every believer answer the call of God, to love Him, and to love others just as Jesus has loved us. Beverly has been in ministry for 20 years.
Marge Ostgaard, and her husband Terry, have been members of this congregation since 1994. Marge has served as Connection Coordinator for the past three years and as a greeter for over 10 years. Terry has been a member of the praise and worship team for over thirteen years. Marge and Terry have three grown children and six grandchildren.
Her gift to connect with people and to recall names and faces is truly a blessing from God. Her desire is to see every person at Radiant get connected and rise to their fullest
Laz and Linda Flores, his wife of 44 years, have a long standing membership in this church since 1976. Laz has served as Deacon, Board Member, Sunday School Teacher, Evangelism Explosion Trainer, Young Adults Bible Study Teacher, Adult Bible Study Teacher and Men’s Ministry Director. Additionally, Laz and Linda have worked together ministering in pastoral care. Laz graduated from McPherson College where he met his future wife, Linda. After finishing school in 1972 they married and moved to Lincoln where they have lived since. He held the position of Counselor and Administrator for a rehabilitation facility for 9 years prior to changing position in 1981 to begin working at the Nebraska Department of Revenue from where he just retired in 2014. At Revenue, he held various duties as a Tax Analyst and later as Education Specialist providing seminars around the state on sales tax and other tax programs to business schools, business groups, community colleges and many other organizations. He also presented tax seminars in Spanish to the Hispanic business community and the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce around the state. Laz’s heart has always been that of an educator and mentoring all types of people regardless of their background or status. He believes that every human being has a story to tell and he wants to hear their story. He is sees himself as a standard bearer of His Lord Jesus Christ who motivates him and is at the center of his life. Laz and Linda have one daughter, Lyne who also grew up in our church is married to Stacey and they both share the joy and blessing of three siblings; two boys and a girl.
